Customer Success & Office Operations Coordinator

Location: NBC Camps Central Office, Spokane, WA

Job Type: Full-Time Staff, FLSA Non-Exempt

Opening Date: August 20, 2026 with an anticipated start date of October 15, 2026

Pay: $25/hour starting base pay

Position Summary

The mission of developing better players and better people is made possible by an exceptional Central Office team. NBC Camps is seeking a motivated and service-oriented individual to join our Central Office in Spokane, Washington. In this role, you will help support the daily operations that drive our camps forward, serving as a key resource for camp partners, customers, and staff across North America and beyond.

This position plays an important role in setting our programs up for success through coordinating phone and email communication, providing logistical and fulfillment support, maintaining office operations, and helping ensure that every camp experience is delivered with excellence.

Core Responsibilities

Customer Success 40%

  • Represent NBC Camps at the front reception desk, delivering exceptional service and hospitality to all guests.
  • Answer incoming calls, provide support with registrations, payment, and general inquiries.
  • Monitor and manage the NBC Camps central email account.
  • Respond promptly to voicemails and call-center requests.

Office Coordination 25%

  • Oversee allocation of camp & office supplies, merchandise and printed materials.
  • Ship merchandise, materials and supplies to camps, clinics, and tour participants.
  • Manage office and camp supplies, track inventory, and re-order supplies as needed.
  • Manage office equipment, printers, and postage machines.
  • Create reports as needed for camp allocations and merchandise.

Registration and Website Responsibilities 20%

  • Assist in registration system updates as needed throughout the year.
  • Assist with updating content on NBC Camps and USSC websites as needed throughout the year.
  • Support NBC staff as necessary with camp, clinic and tour registration and administrative tasks.

Intern Coordination 15%

  • Assist in the recruitment, hiring and training of summer office interns.
  • Provide leadership, management and supervision of the NBC summer intern/seasonal program, including monitoring interns' progress towards successfully completing their required learning objectives.

*Note: Additional job tasks and responsibilities will be assigned depending on seasonal demands.

Minimum Qualifications- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities  

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, though candidates with a variety of educational and professional backgrounds are encouraged to apply. We value relevant skills, experience, and a demonstrated ability to learn and grow, regardless of how those qualifications were obtained.
  • Previous experience in customer service, office administration, operations support, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn new software systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, camp partners, and team members.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment.
  • A team-first mindset with a willingness to serve others and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
  • Alignment with the mission, culture, and core values of NBC Camps, including a commitment to helping develop better players and better people.

Qualifications for Coaching Jobs

  • Athletic Experience
  • Minimum: Must have been a high school varsity player or had previous coaching experience. Preference will be given to college athletes.
  • Moral Excellence Character

Education

Minimum: GED (except Junior Coaches) Preference will be given to those currently excelling in college and to college graduates.

People Skills

Camp coaches must be able to relate and interact with athletes, parents, other coaches, and those in leadership in a professional, appropriate, and meaningful manner.

Enthusiasm

Camp coaches must have thankful, outgoing, and enthusiastic personalities.

Personal Growth

We are a camp based on Christian principles and values. NBC Camp Leadership is looking for people who are interested in physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual growth and development for both campers and coaches. Coaches must be able to lead thoughtful discussions with athletes on the topics of goal setting, peer pressure, confidence, teamwork, family, and faith in God.
